Oops! We forgot to tell you that the
Light and
Volt Verai grew yesterday! For those of you who collect them on the forums - these Verai now grow in level and loyalty at the normal rate,
but yours must have reached
Loyalty 5 in order for you to continue raising it now!

Say hello to the
Szeret! The elusive Monster #17 finally hatched today. Unfortunately the
Lagoon are no longer available for adoption. Likely over-hunted in the wild for their brilliant resemblance to clown fish... Hmm. You can always grab one from the
Cash Shop, though.

Not to keep the
Sands empty, some new eggs have been added! They look like they'll weather quite a lot - I hope they don't take too long to hatch.

The
Cocyti have finally hatched. What interesting little things they are, too...
The
Chiropt seem to have disappeared, though.

The
Stonelings have grown today! The Scoria remains the only one that is unavailable for adoption; the other two are still free to grab. =)
Now that they're adolescents, they can
breed!

Happy July!
Neglected to mention this, but yesterday our
cash shop got a few new items in. Why don't you go check it out?
There are a few new eggs in the
Sands to keep you company. Considering the breed names, I'm wondering if perhaps we'll have another aquatic species on our hands...

The
Shrak have finally hatched!
For those of you who are unaware, this was a species designed in its entirety by the HxRV2 community - the forums at which DWF is current housed. The entire species was assembled by a series of polls conducted by the user Hiro Orman - and these are the result! Aren't they adorable? Unfortunately - or not - the
Overdrive have slunk off somewhere...

The
Auqido have also grown today! They've become quite large, fluffy individuals - in fact, they're rideable! If you're a member of HxRV2, you can train your Auqido to carry your weight, and head off in to the wilderness.
With this growth,
all Auqido have retired, and the
Feral Auqido now has a loyalty requirement of
5.

Quite a lot has been happening the past few days, hasn't it?
First things first - the
Reppequi have reached their adolescent stage of growth. There were no level or loyalty requirements to meet with any of the breeds,
and they are now mature enough to be bred!

Also, the
Sands are now nearly full to bursting with the appearance of
two new egg types! We suggest you pop on over and snag 'em quick, before they're gone. Those second ones look rather more like cocoons to me, but... oh well, I guess we'll have to see!

In slightly more logistical news, we're currently hard at work on a
completely renovated site layout. Hopefully it'll be a little less cluttered and a little easier to navigate, but we hope to have it fully functioning and on the air by the end of the week.
For those of you who are members of our wonderful
forums, look for a variety of contests in the upcoming days.
Summer is here, and we are going to celebrate!!

The
Iijok have all grown! Now that they're in their final stage of life, they've become quite adept at avoiding prospective owners - all breeds are now retired.
There was just something in the air today that effected our feathered friends... but I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that it is our good friend
Spirit's birthday!

The
Sands have some more eggs in stock! ...But I
know we've seen these recently...

The Wind and Shadow Verai have both grown. If you plan on RPing yours at the forums, remember that adolescent Verai need to have obtained a minimum
loyalty of 5 in order to keep listening to you. But don't worry; if you didn't manage to get yours to that level, they're now old enough to breed.
Alternatively, those two familiar eggs have hatched to reveal a few more Verai. The
Light babies are no longer available, but
Volt is still up for adoption!

The
Taylua have finally reached their adolescent stage of growth. Quite fuzzy little things, aren't they?
Only the Garnet and Citrine are still up for adoption... The Obsidian breed appears to have scurried off somewhere. Oh well!

As you'll see, a new option has been added to the sidebar. You can now access the
Wilds Monsterpedia, where you can find all of the information on the currently discovered wild monsters.
Want one for yourself?
Just head over to the
Forums, create an account, adopt a monster from the
regular Monsterpedia, train him up and head out!
It's really quite simple, we promise. ;)
Anyway, these pages will be updated with more information as more wild monsters are found.
Enjoy!

The
Groyte are fast growers, after all! They've reached their adolescent stage today, and... it appears that they've gone through quite a few changes. Suddenly they have arms!
The
Delicate is now the only breed available, as
Warpaint have become retired.

The
Sands are no longer empty, but I
swear we've seen those eggs on more than one occasion. Where they
heck is Obsidion finding these things?

To those of you who are members of our

For those of you who

Happy New Year to everyone!
Rendel and I would like to take a second to thank all of you for sticking with us through another new year here on DWF. We've seen explosive growth since the tail end of 2007, and we owe it all to you!
Our News page was getting cluttered from years of old news posts, so we've moved all of them to their own respective pages. You can now access the brief
2007 and the more extensive
2008 News Archives from the bar right above this update section. =)
We've also (finally!) added
Obsidion to the
Staff page. She deserved it eons ago.
Also, the Sale in the cash shop was brought to an end.
We hope you all have a wonderful and safe year, be sure to keep checking back, as we have lots in stock for you all!
