Notes: The Taylua are an odd breed. Babies - called kits - will begin life in close-knit family packs (an easy feat,
since the Taylua often give birth to numerous kits at once). By they time the reach maturity, they have often
wandered off on their own, living solitary lives in the cave networks of the mountains, joining in family packs
again only to mate and raise offspring. On their own, Taylua actively search for and horde gems; the purpose for
this is unknown, though some scientists have suggested that Taylua gnaw on gems to provide nutrition for their
own gem-like armor outgrowths. The outgrowths themselves seem to be a way of measuring a Taylua's emotional state;
they have been known to dim and glow depending on the mood a Taylua is in.
