Notes: The Reppequi roam the open plains and meadows of the Freehold. In the wild during youth, their parents raise them and keep them close at all times, and as such they form deep bonds during this time. In adolescence, the species tends to keep to itself, wandering solitary through the plains and meadows. Right around reaching adulthood, the Reppequi search for mates, and generally mate for life, raising their children together until they depart as the parents once did.
In the presence of people, the Reppequi tend to be shy, but raised from youth they are fiercely loyal and allow riders. The scales on their backs provide protection, and their ears grant them excellent hearing. Known to make clicks and whinnying sounds, the Reppequi are excellent at communicating their needs. They are also very resilient creatures, and make great companions to those who befriend them.
