Notes: Acid: This breed lives wherever waste is produced. It prefers solitude to companionship, and keeps to the shadows.
Earth: The Earth breed lives in the fields and forests, communing with the parts of nature they live to protect.
Fire: Because of the Fire breed’s aversion to water and the cold, this breed lives among the volcanoes and deserts, basking in the sun and controlling the very essence of fire itself.
Water: The exact opposite of the Fire breed, the Water Verai live by the oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, anything with water in it. They don’t like the cold, but also don’t like the heat, preferring a mild climate in areas where rain is common.
Ice: The Ice breed lives in the tundra and mountain peaks, preferring frigid temperatures over any other.
Shadow: The Shadow breed is rare, but can generally be discovered anywhere they are capable of blending in - caves and overhangs are a favorite, but they can occasionally be found lurking in forests as well.
Wind: According to their nature, the Wind Verai love a stiff breeze. You can find them in plains and mountains, and sometimes near bodies of water - such as lakes - as well.
Verai are essentially made up of one soul in two bodies. The name, Verai, is the name of the Animal Element, while the Human Element is called the Veranai. These creatures are born for battle, as both Elements of the Verai can defend themselves. The two Elements must always touch each other, for if either their mental or physical bonds are broken, they will both die. Verai live to serve their master, though at first it may take a lot for them to warm up to you and consider you worthy of their protection. As such, there is a loyalty requirement of 5 at the Adolescent Level.
